Current Projects

Gisela Heffes is currently working on a new research project, tentatively titled Toxic Nature: Mutated Bodies and Altered Landscapes in Contemporary Southern Cone Narratives and Cinema. Drawing from material ecocriticism, posthumanism and critical geography, this manuscript aims to analyze narratives and films that unfold in the rural space of the Pampas since the turn of the twenty-first century.
